Your Last Will and Testament
A will is the final expression of your desires and preferences. It expresses how and to whom property is to be devised. When an individual dies without a will, the law regards that individual as dying intestate. What this means is that the State applies a default set of rules to the the estate property. Often times, these rules operate in such a way as to frustrate the deceased individuals true intentions. As such, there are few things more important in my profession than organizing and memorializing an individual’s final wishes.
