Last Thursday, the City of Toledo approved the demolition of a 121 year old deteriorating building on Saint Clair Street. This approval paves the way for a fundamental change in the character of the warehouse district, an area of the city that has seen huge advancements in development over the last 10 years. The Mud Hens organization said that it plans to renovate a block between Monroe Street and Washington Street to include a mixed use commercial and residential development. The development and renovation is expected to cost between $10 to $15 million dollars once completed. Read more details from The Toledo Blade here.
